No offense, but dead last in attendance last year. Is that really just because of the stadium? I mean I really hate Barclays, but I'd go if it was my team. I'm (frank)ing driving to Newark about a dozed times a year.
Personally, I loved the Coliseum but Belmont is pretty exciting... and at worst it'll be better then Barclays.

Are you talking about the same fan base that has the arena with the second lowest seating capacity of every team in the NHL and is so empty on most nights that tickets are listed for sale on Stubhub for $8/game?
The fan base with the Lowest Average / Total Attendance and was 4th worst in capacity in the league last year?
A loyal fan shows up to games, they either have NO fans in Brooklyn / Queens and Manhattan (Hard to find 13,000 people there) or they aren't as loyal as they say they are.

Speaking strictly as a tourist staying in Manhattan, I didn't mind Barclays at all.
It was very easy to get to.
Sure, the clock over the blue line and the car parked in the corner was weird, but I was sitting at centre ice (high up), and the sightlines were fine. |

Lucic and Neal trade happened on a Friday. Also...oh yeah nothing else of significance. Seems pretty random in terms of RFA signings, GM's being fired, etc...
But nonetheless, I've taken every Friday off this summer to prepare for the Friday bedlam.  |
